UK: HOK to design research lab
HOK is to design the UK Centre for Medical Research and Innovation (UKCMRI), which will be built on 3.6 acres of land, close to St Pancras Eurostar terminal and the British Library. Set to open in 2014, it will house 1,500 scientists. The lab will replace the National Institute of Medical Research (NIMR).
